自ら土を掘りだし、その特性を確かめる。
土が潜在的に持つ特性を見つめ直し、溶融や焼結、やきもののプロセスを手掛かりとして、土と身体に沈んだ記憶や感覚、人の営みと土（土地）との関係性やあり方を再構築することを試みている。

I excavate clay myself and examine its inherent properties.
By reconsidering the latent qualities of clay, and using processes such as melting, sintering, and ceramic firing as points of departure, I attempt to reconstruct the memories and sensations embedded in both the material and the body, as well as the relationships between human activity and clay—between people and the land itself.
